As most of you know, I went to New York Fashion Week a couple weeks ago with Madi. We met up with my bestie Kate, who lives in the city! It was a wonderful week filled with friends, new experiences, fashion, shopping, and of course…. good food. There are more blog posts to come sharing more of our experience! If you would love to see our fashion week vlog you can click the link here.
Today I am collaborating with Kate (author of Miss All Over The Place), sharing this super cute 2 piece set from Free People. We actually both purchased these outfits together while shopping one afternoon in Soho (best area to shop in NYC)! As I was trying on this adorable little number, Kate was convinced she wanted to try it as well. We both fell in love with it which is RARE. It’s never often that an outfit this unique would fit both of our body types. It was fate. So we thought why not do a collab OOTD post with it?!
Honestly, what I love most about this set is that it literally feels like I am wearing pajamas… So comfy! The pattern is super cool with tiny details of moons and stars. I absolutely love that the pants are high wasted, along with the tie belt at the top to help cinch in your waist. One of my FAV parts about this look is the cut out embroidery detailing on the shoulders. Love any shirt with shoulder details. I wore this outfit to a fashion show we went to on our last night and got many compliments!
Aside from all the cute aspects of this outfit, I love how versatile it can be. Kate paired the pants with a body suit, giving the outfit a totally different look! I would totally wear the top part of this outfit with a pair of black skinny jeans and wedges or booties. You can justify the purchase by saying you are getting a 2 in 1 deal (hehe). All of the outfit details will be linked to shop under the pictures!
I hope you all loved this quick little outfit collab with Kate! If you don’t keep up with her blog, you totally should (here). It’s fun living vicariously through her and all her travel adventures! Be on the look out for more fashion week outfits & experiences to come here on the blog.
